Centre plate & bilge keels
Edward - Wed 21 Dec 2005 10:13:16 I am considering finding a Manta and thought they were all centre plate drop keel yachts. Looking at some current boats for sale one at least seems to have both bilge keels and a drop keel. Was this an option?. If so are the bilge keels iron, ballasted etc.
On a different subject how does the Manta behave in offshore conditions, wind F4-6 and a good chop?
